Say Hello to Tiago, Interior Designer
Hailing from Faro, our interior designer Tiago has loved art and design from a young age, inspired by his surroundings and eclectic neighbourhood, he gained a passion for drawing, fashion and interior design.
A keen sportsman, Tiago has been playing football since the age of 5 and experienced playing locally and abroad.
With studies in graphic design and experience as a freelance designer, Tiago balanced a life of sports and design but ultimately settled where his heart was most happy. Investing his time and energy into his vocation, he studied further and completed a course in interior design. Working at Sofia Sardo Interiors opened the doors to the interior design world he loves so much and is creatively challenged each day.

Tiago’s top life achievements to date include working in an industry that makes him truly happy and inspired and becoming a home owner. Although an interior designer and footballer at heart, becoming a father to the most beautiful baby in the world is up there with one of his top life achievements

- Artistically talented and naturally creative
- Considers himself the comedian in the room, making people laugh is the goal
- A culinary artist as well, Tiago loves to cook in his spare time and always brings some interesting lunches to work
- Tiago considers himself the best DJ in the SSBD HQ – with Afrobeats and ambient house on repeat, always brining the good vibes
- A ferocious Uno player – watch out for this one

- Books – Not an avid book worm but rather enjoy reading project magazines and articles related to design and the design industry
- Movies – Partial to anything war or history related. Likes too many films to single out a favourite
- Music – Anything John Mayer and Chris Brown
- Designer – French creator and designer, Philippe Starck

Tiago’s motto in life is that it’s ‘Better to fight for something than to live for nothing!’
