A project three years in the making, this stunning family home is a 'built from the ground up' renovation rooted in a modern, contemporary and uncomplicated aesthetic, layered with deeply personal design and decor influences from our clients.

This project was designed to create a family home that our clients and their family could return to, time and time again.

The property sits in the sought-after area of Quinta do Lago, overlooking the golf estate, offering the very best of Algarve golf and luxury living. Open living spaces and social interaction shape much of the building's flow, with our bespoke furniture, material selection and decorative pieces all chosen to support this way of living and shaped around family life.

A bittersweet moment for our design studio, as we hand over and close the door on this wonderful project. Having spent three years on the project, working alongside our fabulous clients who couldn't have been more understanding and supportive, we poured a great deal of dedication and care into bringing it over the line for them.

Sofia Sardo Interiors was contracted to provide full-service interior design, from bespoke furniture design and manufacturing to bespoke soft furnishings throughout, decorative elements and much more.

Our goal was to support our client's home renovation, which involved demolition and rebuilding from the ground up. As you can well imagine, this was not without its challenges. Working alongside contractors, councils and more, while we executed our client's vision, was no small feat.

This stunning villa boasts seven bedrooms with fully bespoke bedroom furniture, premium linens and soft furnishings, and two expansive living spaces featuring in-house designed sofas, contemporary armchairs, a chaise longue, media unit, an impressive marble and LED bar unit, a high-level bar table, and a division wall that doubles as an expansive display case. There is also a private office, a cinema room and a games room fitted with a bespoke wall-to-floor drinks cabinet and display case housing classic games, alongside a dartboard, foosball table and pool table to keep guests entertained all night long.

Beyond the impressive interior living spaces, we also catered to multiple outdoor moments, from poolside lounging on premium outdoor loungers, snugs and love beds, to rooftop terrace barbecues and dining with a minirooftop bar area, and of course a jacuzzi to watch the sun go down over the expansive views of the Quinta do Lago golf course. A place you never have to leave is the ultimate in luxury living.
